ABOUT KARORI COMMUNITY SINGERS
Come and join us!
We're a fun, inclusive singing group who meet on Wednesday mornings during school terms. No experience necessary and you don’t need to read music - the goal is to have fun singing together. A friendly, social group, we enjoy a cuppa and a chat in the middle of the session. The church is accessible for wheelchairs and there is decent parking. Led by music therapist Anna Sedcole with a wide range of songs and styles. Cost is $10 per session or $100 per term (school terms only).
CAN I JUST POP IN?
Yes, absolutely! You don't need to register in advance. The cost is $10 per casual session. We run during school terms.
CAN I BRING MY WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER?
Definitely! Many of our members use wheelchairs or walkers and St Mary's is an accessible venue with good parking outside. We are disability-friendly and welcome people of all backgrounds.
I'M NOT REALLY A SINGER - ARE YOU SURE I CAN JOIN?
Please do! We're not about singing perfectly, we're about getting together to realise the joys and benefits of singing together. You don't need to read music, and you don't need to have a 'good' voice.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It costs $10 for a casual session, or you can pay for the whole term at once ($100).
WHEN ARE THE SCHOOL TERMS?
Great question - it's hard to know when you don't have school-aged children!
